Desktop Systems Consulting started out as a sole proprietorship when I signed up as a hosting reseller to get web hosting at wholesale prices for a church website project.

Inspired to use the name "LightBuilder" as my online brand I registered three of the most common top-level domains (TLD's), .com, .net, and .org to ensure they would be available for my future use in case having a website turned out to be more than a passing fad.

A budding web development enthusiast, I taught myself some basic Hyper Text Markup Language (HTML) by copying code snippets from other websites into a simple text editor and started building rudimentary web pages (boy, have things changed since then).

In April of 2024 I decided to act on the long-standing advice of my master mind group by changing my business structure to a Limited Liability Corporation (LLC), vowing to start taking this thing seriously, and begin "earning my chops" by offering digital information products and services as an affiliate marketer.
